Site redesign and seeking volunteers

By | October 8, 2019

Kaiser Permanente ThriveIf things look different around here that is because we are in the midst of a much needed redesign. The changes will be extensive so we are working on a development site until everything is operating as we like, and as of this writing the current design is just a temporary intermediate step. We agree it is a little boring, but most of our visitors arrive on mobile devices these days and it was a quick change we could make so the site will be more responsive. You will notice that some of the images are not displaying correctly, and other various and sundry bugs, but we will work it all out before launching the official re-do.

We continue to update content as well. We have mentioned before that we need volunteers, and the truth is we can never get enough assistance. Our Kaiser Permanente Horror Stories Archive is painfully out of date, as are the tax returns and Kaiser lawsuits. This is an all volunteer project and everything gets done sooner when we have more help. If you are interested in supporting this very worthy cause please Contact Us.

We will issue a press release when everything is up to snuff. In the meantime thanks for putting up with our dust, and for your continued support. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter, where we will be posting regular updates and links to stories as we run across them.

One change we made was to open up comments on the Horror Stories pages so people can leave their complaints directly on the relevant categories. We’ll see how that works out.

I worked for Kaiser in the Mid-Atlantic region for almost 19 years as a nurse practitioner working with adults. Since I know Kaiser from the inside, my insights might be helpful to you. Please let me know if I can work with you.

    With admiration,

    Gail
